Sarah Coady
Owner - Medical Director - BN, MN, NP
Sarah is REFYNE MEDI SPA's co-owner, Medical Director and primary injector. She graduated from Memorial University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Nursing degree. She worked as a staff nurse on oncology, med-surg, geriatrics and as a Nurse Practitioner in primary health care. Her love for the nursing profession and continuing education led her to pursue a Master of Nursing degree. In 2018, Sarah graduated from Memorial University with a Master’s of Nursing Degree and Nurse Practitioner (F/AA). In 2019, Sarah completed the Botulinum toxin and filler course from the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics (CAMA) and in 2021, completed the advanced botulinum toxin and filler course from CAMA Since then, Sarah has completed courses to expand her knowledge in treatment of common dermatological concerns, women’s health, bio identical hormone replacement therapy and medical grade skin care. She is a member of the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine and attends several educational conferences annually to ensure continued competency. Sarah currently practices part time in primary care and full time in medical aesthetics. She is also a clinical trainer in aesthetic medicine for Galderma since 2022. Her passion for medical aesthetics, anatomy, health and wellness, and safe, holistic client care provide the foundation for Sarah to lead and mentor the REFYNE team. During her spare time, Sarah enjoys boating, hiking and gardening with her three poodles and husband.
Kersten Reid
BN, RN, CCNI
Kersten graduated from Memorial University - Center for Nursing Studies in 2010. Kersten recently completed the Canadian Nursing Association accredited Cosmetic Nurse Injector program from the College of Health Studies and obtained the Certified Cosmetic Nurse Injector (CCNI) designation. She is an active member of the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics. Kersten has a passion for helping others and has spent the last 11 years of her career dedicated to working in Mental Health and Addictions. However, she has always possessed a deep interest in medical aesthetics, cosmetic dermatology and has an internal passion for skin care and all things beauty related. She is always eager to offer honest and straightforward cosmetic advice. When she’s not researching the latest and greatest treatments/products, you can find Kersten cuddling with her French Bulldog - Phoebe.
Lindsey Cassell
DNP, MN-NP
Lindsey graduated from Memorial University’s Bachelor of Nursing program in 2001. Since then, Lindsey pursued and completed the Family All Ages Nurse Practitioner (NP) program in 2007, Master of Nursing (MN) in 2015, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2019. Lindsey has vast working experience in Emergency Rooms, Occupational Health, Operations Management, NP Educator, and Primary Health Care across Canada and internationally. In 2019, Lindsey also completed his certification in Medical Aesthetics through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine and maintains membership. Lindsey continues to advance his skills and training through continuous learning and education with leading international medical aesthetics practitioners. Lindsey is passionate about defining and refining with a natural approach, through balancing, restoring, and enhancing facial features through non-surgical procedures by using dermal fillers and neuromodulators (and don’t forget good skin care treatment and SPF!) On a personal note, he enjoys spending time with his partner and two dogs, traveling the globe, gardening, weight training, interior design, and home renovations projects.
Heather Power
MN-NP
Heather graduated from the Centre for Nursing Studies in 2015. Since then, she has worked in both the medical and surgical programs as a staff nurse providing safe, competent, holistic care. She continued to pursue her love of the nursing profession and completed the Master of Nursing degree with Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from Athabasca University. In 2021, Heather completed the botulinum toxin and filler certification in Toronto through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics. Continuing to fuel her passion for medical aesthetics, she recently obtained certification in advanced botulinum toxins and dermal filler techniques in 2023. Heather’s approach to medical aesthetics focuses on enhancement and rejuvenation, while maintaining a natural, refreshed appearance using non-surgical techniques. Outside of work, Heather enjoys making memories with her family while travelling, boating, or playing with her frenchie Lilly.
